Sö 96 was set in the door to the sacristy of the church in Jäder. Now it stands next to the church together with Sö 97 which was also found in the church.
The church was being renovated when I visited it, and the runestones are covered in protective boxes.
Parts of the runestone has been lost, and it is not sure that this is an Ingvar runestone, though it does bear some resemblance to the.
