Day 5 - Enköping
U 837 - Alsta
Jul 4, 2021
Alsta, Uppland, Sweden
It’s broken in half, and split, so it’s not even sure that it’s part of the Ingvar stones.
Only the bottom part of the rune band still remains. The runestone stands by a field in Alsta, a few meters into a small forest.
It was discovered in the 1940s by a local boy, but despite being search for, no other parts of the runestone has been found.
